This class invites participants to attune to the resourcing possibilities of our spine and our spatial awareness to support connection to self & encourage movement from our core in everyday situations.
We will tap into our spine's vertical connection to Earth as a source of aware, attuned, and flexible movement. From this center, we will welcome an awareness of our spatial boundaries in other directions, delineating our personal bubble.
We will then work with a situation in a Focusing way: Exploring body position as an indicator of our state, sensing what our body needs to support our integrity, and invite a posture or movement as a response. There will be opportunities to sense inside and work with a partner or partners.

We will begin by pre-sensing a state of Wise Self. Bringing alignment to the body, we will move through a series of postures for stretching and strengthening. ​Yoga lets us massage stiff places, make more space in our spine and joints, and bring flexibility to our attitudes. We will draw inspiration from nature and from being together.
Please note: I aim to accommodate people's physical needs and to offer modifications. I will also ask you to sign a standard liability waiver prior to the class.
